This is a vintage Japanese teacup (called yunomi) once used at a sushi restaurant named "Tsuda".
We found it at To-ji Temple’s antique market in Kyoto, where many old and rare items from Japan's past can be discovered.
The deep blue cup has white kanji characters that say "Sushi Tsuda" and a phone number — written in the old Japanese phone number style, probably from the Showa era (1950s–1980s). On both sides, you can see a family crest (kamon) printed in white. These symbols are often used by traditional shops and families in Japan.
This kind of cup was common in restaurants. It was sturdy, practical, and also acted like an advertisement. Now, it’s a charming piece of retro Japanese design — perfect for collectors, photographers, or anyone who loves vintage food culture.
🛍️ This is a one-of-a-kind item — once it’s gone, it’s gone.
