This vintage teacup (yunomi) was found at the famous To-ji Temple antique market in Kyoto.
It has a beautiful spiral swirl pattern inside — simple but eye-catching. On the outside, you’ll see bold Japanese calligraphy in deep blue, which gives this cup a strong Showa-era sushi shop vibe.
The hand-painted characters likely show the name and phone number of a local sushi restaurant, which was a common design in mid-20th century Japan.
The cup has a slightly curved shape that fits comfortably in the hand. Whether you use it or display it, this cup brings retro charm and Japanese flavor to your home.
🛍️ This is a one-of-a-kind item — once it’s gone, it’s gone.
